WordCamp USA, this year too, left one more electrified and charged up feeling among the network of affiliates, community contributors & attendees. A surprising fact prevails that WordPress based Websites around the world dominates 76.4% of CMS market share. Indubitably, WordCamps attract many tech geeks from across the world. Multidots, with its consistency, made very successful participation and Mr. Anil Gupta, CEO of Multidots attended WordCamp Nashville, held from December  1st to 3rd at Music City Center, Nashville, TN. Anil had one to one discussions with many key representatives and attendees, who provided many core insights with analysis on future changes proposed by WordPress and plans to launch a fresh and new Avatar of WordPress with introduction of GutenBerg. Some of the key takeaways from this event are as follows:

    • Gained new insights about Gutenberg: Gutenberg is a WordPress project providing a new publishing experience for WordPress. The most talked about topic in project Gutenberg is blocks, which are defined as a  unified way to style content that currently requires shortcodes, embeds, widgets, post formats, custom post types, theme options, meta-boxes, and other formatting elements. By allowing rich customization without deep knowledge of code, blocks make good on the promise of WordPress: broad functionality with a clear, consistent user experience.
    • Anil had quiet fruitful discussion with Adam Segar, Senior partner Account Manager from Siteimprove: Siteimprove is Denmark based company with offices in 9 places around the world. They are people centric company driven by digital certainty, helping more than 6,000 organizations transform the way they manage and deliver their digital presence.
    • Meeting with Devin Walker, Multidots’ one of the prestigious clients and owner of WordImpress(GiveWP), was a great feel. GiveWP is WordPress Plugin for receiving donation and  to help protect endangered species.

Event was filled with great excitement, enthusiasm and gave lot of insights on future of WordPress. Multidots is a regular contributor to WordPress community and most active global offshore development partner with many IT & Non IT customers globally. Version 4.8 of WordPress, named "Evans", had 16 Dots’ contribution to make this update a success. Dots also contributed in 4.7.3 Security Release.
