WordCamp Nagpur Multidots Is coming!

Multidots is proud to announce that the upcoming WordCamp Nagpur 2017 will be organized under our sponsorship as an Editor Level Sponsor. The event is scheduled for 24 & 25 June 2017 at Chitnavis Center Nagpur. We’re really excited for this event and hence, looking forward welcome you to our first-ever WordCamp, sponsored by us in the Nagpur city.

Our enthusiastic WordPress team will be making your trip awesome by creating friendly environment. Manning our stand and handing out some awesome freebies, you will find us around from beginning to the end.

Day 1 Schedule

The day will begin at 9 am with the registration process, followed by the opening remarks at 9:30 am. The speakers will be featured throughout the rest of the day until 4:30 pm.

In addition, WC NAGPUR has two contests to help you prevent the boredom: first is WAPUU CONTEST and second is PLUGIN PRATIYOGITA.

And, the Multidots team is participating in WC NAGPUR WAPUU CONTEST. Our WAPUU contest is inspired by one of the most progressive rulers in the history of our country: Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj – The Greatest Warrior and hero of Maratha folklore! So, we thought that none other than him will be best suited to be the mascot of WordCamp Nagpur Wapuu.

Multidots caught up with the some of Ahmedabad WordPress Meetup volunteers and here are their thoughts on this year’s Nagpur event:

What is new for WordCamp Nagpur this year?

Ronak Sampat – From when the WordPress has put its feet into the global market, I have seen that developing community base has always been one of the major and very basic building blocks behind the WordPress’ progress. It has been proven like a backbone of the WordPress project as a whole!! Without it, being 27% of the internet, owning billions of the sites powered by WordPress would never be in its records list. Thus, it is surely a major case study for all the market researchers in the era.

And, key parts of this community development includes organizing Meetups and WordCamp at local and country levels respectively!! We can be without a doubt assured that WC NAGPUR will also be proven a valuable pearl in this string of pearls.

Nimesh Patel – New speakers, and some old favorites too. I think we are feeling a bit more grounded so although this WordCamp is not groundbreaking in any way – it feels stable.

What do you think will be the most interesting or exciting aspect of WordCamp Nagpur 2017?

Parth Pandya – Personally, I am looking forward to a number of the speakers, meeting new people and seeing & speaking to many of the sponsors, you always forget how important it is to have plenty of networking time at these events.

Harsh Bhatt – I am quite looking forward to some of the talks. I want to catch every single one because they all sound amazing. That said, I personally tend to enjoy the business-themed sessions the most, as that's an area I'm focusing on developing more this year.
