Goal

  • Safeguard current search rankings and online reputation during the migration process to ensure minimal impact on visibility and brand perception.
  • Streamline operations by identifying and eliminating redundant workflows, and replacing them with smart, automated workflows to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
  • Complete the migration before the mission-critical April 2020 Las Vegas show, ensuring smooth workflow development and execution with the support of a reliable CMS migration expert.

Solution

Our migration experts collaborated with the NAB Show team to document workflows and objectives, leading to a detailed migration plan. The project was divided into milestones with demos for feedback. We conducted customer acceptance testing on the client’s server, deployed WordPress as the CMS using Gutenberg, developed custom plugins, and recommended hosting on WordPress VIP for enhanced performance and security.

Results

The NAB Show website migration project was completed successfully, launching the revamped site three months ahead of the April 2020 conference. The new workflows had significantly improved efficiency, saving time for the convention team.
